The
Bible is the Word of God and contains the trustworthy wisdom we need to make
right choices in the here and now. Even
more importantly, the Bible tells us how to enter into a relationship with God,
through Jesus Christ, for secure knowledge of the soul's eternity in Heaven
after the body dies. The Bible
contains no errors. (2 Timothy 3:16)
God
is the only Supreme Being, in which there are three distinct persons, the
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6; 2 Corinthians 13:4; Genesis 1:26-27)
Jesus
is fully God and fully man. (Colossians 2:9;
John 1:14)
God
the Father loved us so much, that He sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to die in
our place, paying the debt for our sin that we could never hope to pay. Jesus didn't stay dead, but rose again after
three days. If we acknowledge our sinful state, repent, and, believing Jesus to
be the only answer, trust Him to save us from our sins, He releases us from
eternal punishment, and we can look forward to living in His presence after
death. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 10: 27-28)
When
we trust Jesus as our Savior, the Holy Spirit resides in us and helps us learn and
grow in the Lord, and gives us strength to make the right choices in life. (Galatians 4:6; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Galatians 5:22-23)
