The name And She Smiles is from Proverbs 31:25, in the Bible. It says, "Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she smiles at the future." If
we look at the verse in its context, we see that this woman can smile
at the future because of the wise ways she has spent her time in the
past.
When
you're young, "the future" seems so far away, and easy to ignore, but a
wise young lady will consider the future as she decides how to live her
life now.
God gives us some important guidelines in the Bible. This living Book is about as ancient as it gets, yet is incredibly relevant to our lives in the twenty-first century. We at And She Smiles care about you, but God loves you perfectly.
We aren't here to tell you what to do or to make your decisions for you. We
want to give you the tools to make your own wise choices--and one of
your choices will be whether or not to use those tools!
